What to Expect During Your Standby Generator Sales and Installation Process

We’ll start with a thorough needs assessment, where we evaluate your power requirements. With your assistance, we’ll identify which essential appliances you want to keep running during an outage and calculate the total wattage needed. A site survey will also be conducted to find the best location to place the generator, ensuring safety and proper ventilation.

Based on your required electrical needs, we’ll choose the appropriate generator size and model while also considering fuel type. A detailed proposal outlining the proper unit’s specifications, total costs, installation process, and timeline will be prepared. We’ll then present you our professional recommendation along with any ancillary items needed or required to fit your preferences and budget. We will discuss this with you, address any questions you may have, and adjust the proposal as needed. Once you’re satisfied, we’ll finalize the contract and collect a deposit to secure your order. All proposals presented include all necessary permits, materials, and any additional required components. Together, we’ll schedule a convenient installation date.

At the time of installation, our team will prepare the site and install the generator, including the transfer switch, and make the required electrical connections. All projects will be inspected as may be required by local jurisdictions. We’ll always ensure everything complies with all safety regulations for a reliable and secure installation.

After installation, we’ll conduct thorough testing to ensure your generator operates correctly. We’ll provide you with a hands-on demonstration of how to use the generator, along with maintenance tips to keep it running smoothly.

Upon completion, we are always only a phone call away. We’ll provide long-term maintenance options to help keep your generator in optimal condition and address any questions you may have.
